Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Seradiag Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14428934), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. VAT number GB439 5345 70.

Contact us at info@seradiag.co.uk or by post at the address above. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Seradiag Ltd, and “you” means the person placing an order.

2. What we sell — and what our products are not

We sell CE marked in-vitro diagnostic tests intended for self-testing or, where indicated, professional use. Our products are screening aids. They do not diagnose any condition and are not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

No test is perfectly accurate. Results can be affected by how and when a test is taken and by individual biological factors. Always discuss a result — particularly an unexpected or worrying one — with a doctor or pharmacist. If you have symptoms that concern you, seek medical advice regardless of what a test shows.

If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact 999 or NHS 111. Do not rely on a home test.

3. Who can order

You must be 18 or over to buy from this website. Individual products may carry further restrictions, which will be stated on the product page.

4. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm dispatch. If we cannot supply an item — because it is out of stock or incorrectly priced — we will tell you and refund any payment for it in full.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch we are not obliged to supply at the wrong price; we will contact you to confirm whether you want to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details. Your statement will show “Seradiag” only.

6. Delivery

Delivery options, prices and estimated timescales are shown at checkout. Estimates are in working days and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. We currently deliver to United Kingdom.

Orders are dispatched in plain outer packaging that does not indicate the contents. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may usually cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

Important exception for sealed test kitsOur diagnostic tests are supplied sealed for health protection and hygiene reasons. Under regulation 28(3)(a) of those Regulations, the right to cancel is lost once the seal on a test kit has been broken after delivery, because the kit can no longer be safely resold. Kits that remain sealed and unopened can be returned within the 14-day period as normal. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, mis-described, or supplied past their expiry date.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end — email info@seradiag.co.uk or write to the address above. You may use the model cancellation form but do not have to. Return the goods within 14 days of telling us. You pay return postage unless the goods are faulty or wrongly supplied, and must take reasonable care of them meanwhile.

We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you showing evidence you have sent them. The refund includes the standard outbound delivery cost; if you chose a premium delivery option we refund only the cost of our standard option. We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.

8. Faulty, damaged or expired goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item arrives damaged, faulty, past its expiry date, or is not what you ordered, contact info@seradiag.co.uk and we will arrange a replacement or full refund including return postage. Please include your order number and, if you can, a photograph.

9. Storage, expiry and safe disposal

Store kits as stated in the manufacturer’s instructions and do not use them after the printed expiry date. Follow the instructions supplied with each kit. Lancets and other sharps must be disposed of safely and never placed in household recycling — your local authority can advise on sharps disposal.

10. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any decision you take, or do not take, about your health on the basis of a test result — our tests are screening aids and results should be confirmed by a healthcare professional. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses.

11. Your account

Keep your password confidential and do not share it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably suspect misuse.

12. Complaints

Email info@seradiag.co.uk and we will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days. If we cannot resolve it you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme. You can also report concerns about a medical device to the MHRA through its Yellow Card scheme.

13. General

We may update these terms; the version applying to your order is the one published when you placed it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
